Norfolk Iceni Basketball Club was formed in 1983 by Doreen McCormick. Doreen continues to run this club as our Head Coach. Over time, the club has grown in size and continues to do so.
Our vision is to be a club that is accessible to everyone across Norfolk, getting as many girls and ladies as possible involved in basketball. We strive to deliver an experience that is outstanding for all, show respect to all our members and share the passion that we have for the sport we play.
Currently, we have over 90 members at the club and a team of 12 coaches. Our youngest members are 5 years old and we cater for girls from this age onwards. We offer the opportunity for all our members to play in competitive fixtures in both the National League Competition and Local League Competitions. Across the 2021/22 season, we will have 9 teams covering all age groups.
We welcome girls and ladies of all ages and abilities to the club. Whether you are an established player, or would like to try a new sport, we would love for you to join our club.
