Last Sunday saw the Iceni Warriors head to Cambridge for a friendly game against the Under 16 Cambridge Cats team. This game was a fantastic opportunity for both the teams to get valuable game experience. 

Warriors started of the first quarter fantastically and establish an 8-0 lead going into the second quarter. Cats started to pick up the pace and Iceni began to panic slightly. Some silly mistakes on offence cost us the ball. The game very much continued as back and forth baskets at both ends. 

We missed a lot of shots and made small mistakes on defence however there was still positive elements throughout the game with great teamwork on display. With new players on the team Warriors, should be very proud of their efforts. Unfortunately, Warriors narrowly missed out on a win with the score finishing as 24-29.
