As the new season approaches, the Iceni U14s summer camp was an opportunity to return to the basketball court, practice some skills and drills and have some fun with a 3×3 tournament and a hot shooter competition! It was a great start to the season with some impressive shooting, defensive and ball handling skills on display. We were delighted by the attitude of the returning players who are really positive and supportive of each other.
One player stood out for us on the day to receive the player of the day trophy and that was Tegan Brett for her positive attitude, team work, shooting and defensive skills. Well done Tegan!
First place for our 3×3 tournament went to Sophie Hardwick, Matilda Ryder and Phoebie Allen. Second place went to Lauren Browne, Alice Crowley and Adara Gurney. And finally the hot shooter award went to Sophie Hardwick.
These awards only reflect part of the picture seen at the camp as there were great performances all round and this promises to be an exciting season for our U14 girls.
